Meryienda is a small, artisan, gluten free bake shop founded by Elvira Acosta in 2012. Originally based in New York City, we recently ventured west and hope to bring our delicious products to the Bay Area! Meryienda specializes in cookies, bars, brownies and Filipino inspired desserts. In most of the Philippines, Meryienda is snack. Doesn’t everyone love snack time!?!
Meryienda’s products are handcrafted and baked fresh, from scratch, in small batches to ensure consistency and the highest quality. Meryienda is committed to using all-natural ingredients, organic and locally sourced when possible to support the community, and we do not use preservatives or anything artificial.
The desserts at our dinner party were so delicious and beautifully presented, no one would've guessed they're gluten free . We'll definitely order again!
